What could be better than homemade tomato sauce made with love? And with fresh burrata cheese? That's why the charismatic Gian Luca Demarco starts the new season of the TV show "La Maistas" with this famous Italian recipe. And to make it much more interesting, it also turns on intrigue - rowan berries.
The sauce was prepared by Gian Luca in a travel grill COBB, which is perfect for cooking anywhere: not only on trips, but also at the homestead, placed on the table. And you can cook it in any available grill or over the stove.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 handful of rowan berries
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. ground black pepper
- 1 ciabatta
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1 dash of olive oil
- 1 burrata cheese
Production:
- Heat the olive oil, add a few cloves of garlic.
- Cut the onions into half rings and fry
- After the onions are fried, add a handful of rowan berries
- Prepare the tomatoes: dice them and add them to the pan. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and add fresh basil.
- Grind the prepared mass with a blender
- Serve with fresh burrata cheese and toasted ciabatta bread.
