Its author is 2015 Lithuanian barbecue champion Nerijus Ižganaitis! For your court, pork neck steak marinated with fresh thyme and honey.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg pork neck
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 2-3 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. smoked paprika powder
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp. ground 5 types of pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 hours oil
  • 1 tbsp. salt

PREPARATION

Nerijus Ižganaitis, the leader of the "BBQ Legion", suggests being more original - preparing steaks, not shashliks, from the neck.
Although the recipe uses everyday ingredients found in almost every kitchen, the preparation is simple, but the result is fantastic! Genius lies in simplicity - a good old truism.

A simple but not bad recipe - pork neck steak marinated with fresh thyme and honey.

Cut the pork neck into 2-2.5 cm thick steaks. Place and mix chopped thyme, honey, smoked paprika powder, chopped garlic, pepper, mustard, oil and salt in a bowl. Rub the neck steaks with this marinade and leave it in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours. Bake the marinated steaks for 6-7 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees on the grill, in a pan or in the oven.
